Industry

Plastic, Printing and Packaging

Emirates National Factory for Plastic Industries (ENPI Group), established in 1995, operated in the manufacturing sector with a strong focus on printing and plastic packaging materials. The company delivered world-class products and services and steadily expanded its capabilities through a clear diversification strategy. Over time, it evolved into a group of companies, with each business unit becoming a recognised leader within its respective industry.

ENPI Group, part of Saudi Printing and Packaging Co., is a publicly listed Saudi Arabian company with more than 20 years of experience in the plastic packaging industry. The parent company specialised in packaging, printing, publishing and related services.

As a regional industry leader across the Middle East and Africa, ENPI Group has served more than 2,400 customers. It operates nine factories – seven in the UAE and two in Saudi Arabia – supporting a large and diverse customer base across multiple markets.

“We are delighted with the product and support – an industry standard solution that meets our target criteria.”

Challenge

Balancing Innovation with Enterprise-Grade Security

ENPI Group consistently explored advanced technologies to deliver world-class paper and plastic packaging solutions. This innovation-driven approach positioned the Group as a regional pioneer across several of its business activities. However, it also increased the complexity and exposure of its IT landscape.

The organisation managed a wide range of critical IT services, including AD exchange, ERP solutions, business intelligence, a co-located data centre and a disaster recovery site. These services supported a network of 450 IT users. Any unauthorised exploitation of these resources by external threat actors could have resulted in severe operational and reputational damages.

As security demands continued to rise, ENPI Group recognised the urgent need to restrict access to critical resources and ensure that only authorised privileged users could interact with sensitive systems.

To address these concerns, the ENPI Group team defined three clear objectives for a Privileged Access Management (PAM) solution:

  • Centrally manage credentials within an encrypted secure vault while enabling password-less access to applications.
  • Provide access to organisational infrastructure resources through a unified platform.
  • Gain comprehensive visibility into the activities of privileged users accessing the infrastructure.
The Solution

Centralising Credential Management and Access Governance

Determined to implement a market-ready PAM solution, ENPI Group selected Sectona for deployment across its infrastructure.

The Sectona Security Platform delivered a streamlined and integrated privileged access approach built on simplicity and automation. It consolidated multiple teams onto a single platform, significantly improving usability and operational efficiency.

The platform unified key security elements to accelerate the protection of privileged accounts across expanding attack surfaces. It supported scalable deployment architectures designed to meet complex enterprise requirements and adapt to growing security needs.

By aligning closely with ENPI Group’s defined objectives, Sectona provided a structured and future-ready framework for managing privileged access securely and efficiently.

Benefits

Transforming Privileged Access into a Strategic Advantage

ENPI Group successfully deployed Sectona across all privileged users within the organisation. The implementation enabled centralised platform access through a single console, delivered granular visibility into user activity, and enforced collaborative session-sharing capabilities.

The platform provided seamless connectivity for both internal and external privileged users. It secured and governed access to all critical resources while maintaining operational agility.

As a result, ENPI Group strengthened control over its privileged environment, optimised productivity and maximised efficiency across its IT operations, all while significantly enhancing its overall security posture.
