Securing Cloud-First Operations without Compromising Agility
To remain competitive in a rapidly evolving insurance landscape, Zuno GI extensively leveraged Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host its infrastructure, including business-critical applications such as SAP.
With a commitment towards delivering excellence to customers around the clock, Zuno GI’s teams, including business and IT users, accessed critical infrastructure anytime and from anywhere. This ensured operational agility and heightened the need for robust security controls.
The security team recognised that enabling seamless yet secure access to cloud-hosted systems was paramount. As a result, they began building a comprehensive cloud security framework centred on Privileged Access Management (PAM).
Primary objectives included:
- Enabling secure access to critical infrastructure hosted on AWS, for business and IT users.
- Implementing a second factor of authentication to introduce an additional security layer.
- Facilitating secure file transfers to mitigate the risk of data theft.
The Solution
Implementing Intelligent Privileged Access Management
After evaluating available options, Zuno GI selected Sectona, confident in its ability to meet their strategic security objectives.
Sectona’s PAM solution was rapidly deployed within Zuno GI’s AWS-hosted environment. Its built-in cross-platform capabilities and VPN-less, browser-based access model enabled secure connectivity for business and IT users accessing AWS remotely – anytime and from anywhere.
Through strong AWS integration and advanced credential management, the risk of password sharing or exposure was significantly reduced. At the same time, Zuno GI gained the ability to centrally manage and monitor all user activities, enhanced by integrated risk intelligence.
With Sectona in place, Zuno GI achieved:
