PAM Version 4.1.0 – New Features and Functionalities

To provide enterprises with optimum privileged account security, we have developed the latest Sectona PAM version 4.1.0. Here are the most recent additions to Sectona PAM.

  • Introducing Sectona Vault WSSL Proxy Host

We have added a new component, Sectona Vault WSSL Proxy Host to help enhance web service security by providing an additional layer of protection between client and server. This new addition is set to make it even more secure for users to access and manage their privileged accounts.

  • Direct Access Gets a Makeover

With a range of updates related to Direct Access, we have enhanced the experience for users to connect to target servers. Sectona PAM version 4.1.0 now offers the option to configure notification alerts for direct access and a new feature to restrict direct login to Windows servers.

We have also added a new canned report in Analytics for “Asset Direct Access (last 24 hours)” and added Default Direct Access and Restrict Direct Access options in the Assets Security Settings.

  • Improved Account Access

We have made advancements in Account Access by adding an option to raise a request for account access within a fixed daily time. The notification template for account access requests with a specified daily time and system license has also been updated.

  • Other Important Updates that Come with Sectona PAM Version 4.1.0

In addition to critical updates, we have made a range of other improvements, including:

  • A built-in file editor for FTP/SFTP-based account access, making it easier for users to manage their files.
  • Adding a Delete button and Allow Keyboard Interaction checkbox to configure keyboard interaction while performing SSO in Access Type – SSO Sequence.
  • A new option to configure the “x display location” in Sectona PuTTY.exe
  • Making changes to validate the ticket before raising a request.
